Tanzania, Zambia presidents agree to open up railway management to foreigners

The presidents of Zambia and Tanzania are opening up the management of their famous railway to foreign applicants in an attempt to restore it to its former glory.

Tanzania’s President John Magufuli says both countries are placing economics above politics to make the Tanzania-Zambia Railway the main route for exporting Zambia’s copper.
