Tanzania, Ethiopia leaders announce plans to link countries via cargo hub

Ethiopia’s Prime Minister, Hailemariam Desalegn, is in Tanzania to strengthen ties with President John Magufuli.

The two leaders announced plans to build Africa’s biggest cargo hub in Dar es Salaam, linking the city’s port with Ethiopia’s international airline. They have also agreed on a number of other areas fro cooperation including trade, energy, tourism and athletics.
