Two new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed by Tanzania’s health ministry, bringing the total number of acknowledged cases in the country to six. The ministry revealed the new developments in a statement on Thursday.

The two patients were identified as 40-year old Tanzanian men. One had traveled to Denmark, France, and Switzerland beginning on March 5 and returned to the country on Saturday. The other had traveled to South Africa over the weekend, returning to the country on Tuesday.

Health officials say the patients are in isolation and in good condition. Close contacts of the men, as well as Tanzania’s four other confirmed cases, are being tracked, including over 100 persons of interest in Arusha and Dar es Salaam, the ministry said.
