Super Eagles striker Igboun signs two-year extension with FC Ufa

Russian Premier League side FC Ufa have announced on their official webpage that Super Eagles striker Sylvester Igboun has put pen to paper on a contract extension with the club.
The length of Sylvester Igboun’s new contract with FC Ufa is calculated for two years.
The 27-year-old has been on the books of FC Ufa since July 2015 after switching from Danish club FC Midtjylland, where he previously spent the whole of his professional career.
Since joining FC Ufa, Sly has netted 14 goals in 75 appearances in the Russian Premier League, and has seven assists to his name.
Before the attacker’s transfer to FC Midtjylland, he was playing for grassroots club FC Ebedei, owned by Sunday Oliseh’s brother, Churchill.
Igboun was involved in two matches against Swaziland during the 2018 World Cup qualifiers but failed to make the make the 23-man squad for this summer’s football festival in Russia.
