Spanish football team made up mostly of African migrants

For most, football is a game to be enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes but for a team in Spain, the sport means so much more.

Alma de Africa — or Soul of Africa — is a team made up mainly of African migrants. Some arrived in Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain by sea or by crossing the fence from Morocco into Melilla, a Spanish enclave.

And their story goes far beyond the boundaries of any pitch, as CGTN’s Dan Williams reports.
