South Sudanese presidential advisor for economic affairs Aggrey Sabuni has hailed the Communist Party of China, saying it had achieved a lot for the people of China and the world at large.
“This is a party that has achieved a lot for the people of China and for the rest of the world, a party that has clear Vision as where to take the Chinese people China and the rest of the world,” Sabuni said.
His comments come as delegates are gathered in the Chinese capital, Beijing, for the 19th CPC National Congress.
Africa remains keen on the happenings at the Congress in Beijing, and leaders from across the continent have expressed optimism that the forum will benefit their nations.
Sabuni also praised President Xi Jinping’s administration.
“I have great confidence in the leadership of the party led by the president Xi,I wish him well ,i wish the leadership of the communist party well ,i wish the Chinese people well ,as they move forward in serving the welfare problems of Chinese people and that of the rest of the world,” he said.
South Sudan is a beneficiary of China’s contribution to peacekeeping efforts worldwide, with hundreds of troops deployed in the country.
In his report at the beginning of the Congress, Xi expressed optimism that his country’s new goal of being more active on the international stage will translate to a more peaceful world.
