South Africans Turn to Sewing for Employment Opportunities

The small mining town of Grootvlei just outside Johannesburg in South Africa is dry and desolate. Some mining still occurs in the area but it provides very few local jobs. However, a sewing initiative started 5 years ago is helping to turn the situation around,as CCTV’s Sumitra Nydoo explains.
