South African soldiers in DR Congo receive Christmas gifts

Christmas fever just kicked in.

South African peacekeepers in Goma Eastern Congo recently received Christmas goodies while on assignment in the country’s volatile east.

And as this is meant to motivate the soldiers during the festive season, worry still looms over the country’s reluctance to aid in combating armed groups in the region.
