South African gov’t scheme targets 7 million jobs for women and youth

South African government is taking aggressive steps to address unemployment.

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa says the administration is on track to create 6 million jobs through its Expanded Public Works Programme. South Africa like many African counterparts has a high unemployment rate especially among the youth.
