It’s been about two months since Kenya closed remittance accounts to Somalia over suspicions of financing terrorism. Considering how much the Somalia economy depends on remittance funds, CCTV’s Mohammed Hirmoge looks at how life has been without the Hawalas, as they are popularly known.
