Somalis happy as Dahabshiil branches re-open

Kenya’s decision to lift the suspension of Dahabshiil’s money transfer service has been hailed in Mogadishu as considerate, given that it serves over 40% of the Somali population. Kenyan authorities are on record as saying that, having reviewed the firm’s operations, it has strong processes to curb money laundering and terror financing. CCTV’s Mohammed Hirmoge reports
