Read < 1 minute

Scores of civilians have been injured in an explosion in the Somalia’s southern town of Kismayo.

The blast ripped through the popular eatery frequented by local elders and regional security force members.

But this attack comes two days after Somali National Army and U.S troops killed senior Al-Shabaab commander in lower Shabelle region in southern Somalia this week.

CGTN’s Abdulaziz Billow has this report from Mogadishu.
