Somalia calls for ‘united stand against terror’ after New Zealand shooting

Somalia’s government has called for a “united stand against terror” in the wake of the New Zealand mosque shootings which left 49 people dead Friday morning.
Mohamed Farmaajo, Somalia’s President, strongly condemned the attack, tweeting: “We stand in solidarity with the New Zealand government and the Muslim community.”
“We must unite to defeat the evil of terror in all its forms,” he added.
I strongly condemn the horrific Islamaphobic attack in #Christchurch, New Zealand against Muslim worshippers. We stand in solidarity with the New Zealand Government and the Muslim community as they overcome this ordeal. We must unite to defeat the evil of terror in all its forms.
