Six people killed in Maiduguri suicide bomb attack

Four suicide bombers and two bystanders died in a bomb explosion in the northeast Nigeria city of Maiduguri early Wednesday.

The national emergency agency said that all four suicide bombers died instantly along with two civilians during the attack on the outskirts of Maiduguri at about 1:30am local time.

Civilian Joint Task Force sources also disclosed to SaharaReporters that another suicide bomb attempt was foiled in Alkali village in the Muna general area. Nigerian government emergency workers said 16 persons were injured in the blasts, Sahara reporters reports.
