‘Sisi: We greatly look forward to the visit of Chinese President visit to Cairo’ was the headline on Monday by Egypt’s number one newspaper Alharam.
According to the newspaper the two nation’s will sign memorandum of understanding (MOU) on common investments, common investments and transportation, housing, electricity, agriculture, higher education and technical education.
During a meeting with the Prime Minister on Sunday, Egypt’s President Sisi is quoted to stress on the importance and the significance of the visit of President Xi Jinping to Cairo. Egypt is looking forward to benefiting from the achievements of China. The President insisted on the importance of the agreement and MOU’s signed, and those that are currently being negotiated with China.
President Sisi clarified during the meeting with the Prime minister and Ministers of Housing, Transportation, and Trade and Industry that there are many opportunities of investment for China in Egypt. Also that there are opportunities for China to cooperate in Egypt’s national projects that are being developed.
Both Countries will be focusing on enriching the bilateral agreements as they mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the relations between Egypt and China.Egypt is looking in means of cooperation in Xi Jinping’s plans to revive the silk road and enrich cultural exchange between both countries
