Seychelles President Danny Faure visits Middle East

Seychelles President Danny Faure is expected in the Middle East on Sunday January 12 for an official tour of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

While in Abu Dhabi, Faure will attend the World Future Energy Summit 2020 set to be held from 12 to 14 January.

The World Future Energy Summit is part of the largest sustainability gathering in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW).

ADSW is a global platform for accelerating the world’s sustainable development. The week brings together a unique fusion of policy makers, industry specialists, technology pioneers and the next generation of sustainability leaders.

Through its initiatives and events, ADSW is a catalyst for sharing knowledge, implementing strategies and delivering solutions to drive human progress.

Various other world leaders are expected in Abu Dhabi for the forum, including Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame.

Seychelles President Faure will then head to Bahrain where he will meet the King of Bahrain, His Royal Highness King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa for bilateral talks aimed at boosting relations between the two sides.

Faure will return to his country on 17 January.
