Sergio Ramos sends quick recovery wishes to Mohamed Salah
Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos sent quick recovery wishes to Liverpool’s Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah following his injury in the Champions League final on Saturday.
Salah was forced off in the half hour mark with what appeared to be a shoulder injury after landing awkwardly under a challenge from Ramos.
Following the game – which Real Madrid won 3-1 to lift their third consecutive Champions League title and 13 overall – the captain sent the Egyptian get well soon wishes through his Twitter handle.
“Sometimes football shows you its good side and other times the bad. Above all, we are fellow pros,” he wrote.

The injury now puts Salah’s World Cup prospects in jeopardy, though he will have to await a doctor’s scan before any decision is made.
The 25-year-old has been the stand-out player for Liverpool this season after joining in the summer from Italian side AS Roma. He finished the season with 44 goals, also setting a new scoring record in the English premier League.
His national side is already preparing for the World Cup set to begin on 14 June.
The Pharaohs are pooled alongside Russia, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay in Group A. They play their first game against the South Americans on 15 June.
