Senegalese forward Sadio Mane vows to sink Manchester United
Senegal’s Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has vowed that his club will beat Manchester United when the two English football giants clash at Anfield tonight.
The 24-year-old who completed a surprise £34million move to Merseyside in the summer has been in fantastic form since joining Jurgen Klopp’s side, notching the Player of the Month for August.
Mane has scored three times in six Premier League games for the Reds.
“We are going to beat Manchester United,” the Daily Telegraph reports Mane to say.
“Of course [I think that]. We all believe it. We are going to make it,” he added.
Mane last week revealed that he turned down the chance to play for Manchester United a year before accepting the call from Liverpool.
Liverpool are currently fourth on the Premier League standings with 16 points from seven games while Manchester United are at seventh with 13 points from the same number of games.
