South Africa’s tragic legacy of apartheid can still be seen where many of those left marginalized for years, still remain without basic services like access to electricity. Many South Africans still rely on paraffin to cook, and light up their homes, despite the inherent dangers that poses. One social entrepreneur in Cape Town however, thinks he may have the answer and he has turned to pedal power to light up the lives of the impoverished. CCTV’s Travers Andrews reports
