There has been no further information as to whether the East African leader has accepted the invitation and the time that he would be traveling to the European country.
“Bilateral Uganda-Russia relations have increasingly strengthened, with prospects of a Russian firm building Uganda’s planned $4.5 billion oil refinery. UPDF, the Ugandan military, a few years ago bought a squadron of Sukhoi-Su 30 fighter jets from Russia continues as well to supply other military hardware.” Says the report by the Daily Monitor.
