Real Madrid begin UCL title defense against Ronaldo’s boyhood club Sporting CP
The Champions League resumes tonight with the second bunch of Day 1 group stage games being played across Europe.
Holders Real Madrid will begin their title defence against Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon, a game that will see Ballon d’Or contender Cristiano Ronaldo face his boyhood club at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Having just started his first game of the season in Real Madrid’s Liga 5-2 win over Osasuna, Ronaldo will be keen to kick-start his Champions League quest positively, hoping to make another final appearance in The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

Bayer Leverkusen vs CSKA Moscow
Tottenham Hotspur vs Monaco
Legia Warszawa vs Borussia Dortmund
Club Brugge vs Leicester City
FC Porto vs FC Koebenhavn
Juventus vs Sevilla
