Putin, Netanyahu agree to bolster coordination in COVID-19 fight

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu o Monday agreed to bolster coordination in efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19.
In a telephone conversation, the two leaders also discussed other issues aimed at strengthening ties between their two countries.
Both countries remain on high alert as cases of COVID-19 continue to rise across the globe.
Israel has so far registered 8,611 COVID-19 cases with 54 deaths, while Russia has tallied 6,343 infections, including 47 fatalities.
Globally, confirmed cases of COVID-19 have exceeded 1.28 million, with the death toll exceeding 70,000, according to Johns Hopkins University. Over 270,000 patients have recovered.
