Pressure already piling on incoming Super Eagles coach

Read < 1 minute

Former Captain of the Nigerian football National Team, Sunday Oliseh, has finally been appointed as the head coach of the Nigerian Super Eagles.

He replaces Stephen Keshi, who was sacked earlier this month for allegedly breaking the terms of his contract with Nigeria Football Federation. Oliseh signed a five-year contract with the NFF.

The 40-year-old arrived with Belgian, Jean Francois Losciuto as his Foreign Technical Assistant. His appointment sees him become the fifth player in the 1994 Eagles team to handle the senior national team after Austin Eguavoen, Samson Siasia, Daniel Amokachi and Stephen Keshi. CCTV’s Deji Badmus reports.
