President Xi vows to further push China’s reform and opening-up

China’s annual political season – the Two Sessions – is underway.

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday morning joined National People’s Congress  (NPC) deputies from Guangdong Province in their panel discussions.

Located in southern China, Guangdong Province is one of the frontiers of China’s reform and opening-up policy.

During the discussion, President Xi reinforced the Chinese government’s commitment to further push China’s reform and opening-up, and help local companies to thrive.

The NPC deputies welcomed the president’s remarks, saying they would follow the the guidelines to achieve the set targets.
