
President Buhari leaves Nigeria for urgent medical treatment in London

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has left the country to seek urgent medical treatment in London for undisclosed illness.
Mr. Buhari has previously been in London in January for seven weeks of medical leave.
In a statement, the President assured all Nigerians that there is no cause for worry, and he is grateful for the prayers and good wishes of the people.

The statement says that the length of the president’s stay in London will be determined by the doctors.
Mr Buhari has left Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo in charge, saying that he has absolute confidence that government will continue to run smoothly while he is away
