Popular Tanzanian songstress, Venessa Mdee, locked up on drug charges

Tanzanian recording artist, songwriter, youth activist, TV and radio host Vanessa Hau Mdee also referred to as Vee Money has surrendered to the police and locked up over drugs abuse allegations, according to a report by Daily News.

The prominent artist’s advocate, Aman Tenga confirmed that Venessa surrendered to the Central Police Station in Dar es Salaam after appearing in the list of suspected drugs abusers and dealers revealed by Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Paul Makonda last month.

The sexy musician was in South Africa for official duties at the time she was named by the RC. Her house was searched and she was taken to the Chief Government Chemist for further investigations before being locked up.
