One of Africa’s most wanted man Joseph Kony continues to evade capture

The hunt for fugitive warlord Joseph Kony and his Lord’s Resistance Army will top the agenda of a 2-day meeting at the African Union .

This weekend, the mandate expires for the AU’s task force hunting the LRA. Officials want to assess how they are doing, why they haven’t caught Kony  – and options for calling off the chase.

Joseph Kony has long been one of Africa’s most wanted men. Troops from a string of different countries have been hunting for him. Yet he continues to evade capture.
