Nigerian students are offering greater independence for the visually impaired with a new smartphone app. Four students, have developed an app called “Humane” to help blind people perform tasks like, using their smart phones.
There is a growing and urgent need to increase access to eye care as well as reach many affected people who remain illiterate.
