A female passenger was found dead inside a lavatory at the departure hall of the international wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos yesterday.
Details of the cause of death were sketchy as at press time just as the identity of the passenger was not disclosed.
It was however learnt that the woman was on her way to the UAE to seek for medical attention.
She is said to have complained of slight pain after which she went to the lavatory.
She however did not return to the departure hall, and her body was discovered by an aviation security official who alerted medical personnel at the airport.
Her body was deposited at the mortuary of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) while investigation is in progress to determine the cause of her death
