Nigeria and Morocco sign bilateral trade agreements, seek to boost ties

Nigeria and Morrocco have signed seven bilateral trade agreements in a new effort to restore strained diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The agreements were signed on Friday, during a historic visit to Abuja by Moroccan King Mohammed VI.

Nigeria and Morocco had been embroiled in diplomatic row leading to a recall of Moroccan ambassador from Abuja.

But it is clear now president Muhamdu Buhari and King Mohammed VI want relationship restored.

King Mohammed VI, also the richest African monarch, was accompanied by a delegation of three hundred people, most of them businessmen.
