King Mohammed VI of Morocco will be visiting six African countries starting next Sunday, according to the Moroccan News.
King Mohammed will travel to Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Kenya, and Gambia to advance relations between his countries and the named nations. Morocco’s goal is to consolidate South-South partnership and create cooperative relationships with other African countries.
King Mohammed visited to several African countries, including Nigeria, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Madagascar in 2016.
Morocco has signed nearly a thousand agreements with African countries since 2000 according to the King’s speech to African leaders at the closing of the 28th Summit of the African Union (AU) in Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa following Morocco’s readmission to the AU.
