More African countries confirm Covid-19 cases

273 confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been reported in 26 African countries, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
Over the weekend, Central African Republic, Eswatini, Rep of Congo, Rwanda, Seychelles announced first cases.
Congo Republic reported its first case, a 50-year-old French-Congolese man who arrived on an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Paris on March 1, the government said in a statement.
While Côte d’Ivoire confirmed 3 new cases Sunday morning.
Africa had so far largely been spared the rapid spread of COVID-19, which has infected at least 132,000 and killed nearly 5,000 worldwide.
According to WHO, in Africa, only six people have succumbed to coronavirus so far.
