Mohamed Salah named PFA Player of The Month for March
Liverpool’s Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah was on Monday named the PFA Player of The Month for March.
The 25-year-old scored six times in four matches against Newcastle, Manchester United, Watford and Crystal Palace over the month, also notching an assist.
This is Salah’s forth win of the award this season, having also clinched it in November, December and February.
The award is voted on by fans, who pick from a selected list of players.
Salah is currently the Premier League’s top scorer with 29 goals, five more than second placed Harry Kane.
He however sat out Saturday’s derby clash against Everton which ended in a barren draw, due to an injury concern.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp however hopes the Egyptian can be fit to face Manchester City in the return leg of the Champions League quarter final clash on Tuesday.
