Mixed reactions follow Marikana report’s findings

In South Africa, reaction continues to pour in after President Jacob Zuma released the Farlam Commission Report. The Report details the findings of a probe into the deaths of 44 people during an unprotected strike in Marikana in 2012. The findings include improper police conduct and poor communication by mining giant Lonmin. Mining unions have also been accused of doing too little to quell tensions and protect non-striking workers. CCTV’s Sumitra Nydoo reports
