Migrants Crisis: Funerals Held In Malta for Drowned Victims

Funerals for 24 people killed in the worst ever recorded capsizing of a migrant boat in the Mediterranean have been held in Malta. Ahead of the service, soldiers carried the 24 plain wooden coffins past piles of flowers to a marquee set up near the morgue. With no known families to return their remains to, the deceased were buried in common graves. An estimated 800 people reportedly died in Sunday’s disaster
