Members share experiences to enhance cooperation
The BRICS Governance Seminar has come to an end in Johannesburg, after member states shared experiences aimed at enhancing cooperation and governance.
With the world facing unprecedented change, there is high expectation that the BRICS countries will play a greater role in the global economy in the future.
The more than 100 delegates in attendance shared experiences on how to build effective global governance.
Many agreed that governance should be prioritized in addressing challenges of development.
The governance forum came ahead of the 10th BRICS Summit scheduled to take place later this month, in Johannesburg.
The meeting was jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the South African National School of Government.
The theme of the BRICS conference this year is “Contributing BRICS Wisdom to Global Governance in the interests of the people”.
