Mauritania’s Modern Day Nomads

Twenty years ago 80 percent of Mauritanians were nomads searching for a living in the hostile desert. However due to several factors many of them environmental, the nomadic way of life is slowing dying out as their society is changing and adapting to the modern world.  27 year old Sidi Ould Ghibaly however is an exception, he prefers the nomad’s way of life finding it simpler and quitter.
