Mauritanians Head to the Presidential Polls

It’s Election Day in Mauritania. President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, is seeking a new term. The former general has been leading the country since he seized power in the largely desert northwest African nation in a 2008 coup. His main challenge will be to achieve a convincing turnout in the polls. His main rivals are boycotting the vote. Mahia Mutua tells us more.
