Football legend Diego Maradona, has accused his ex-wife and childhood sweetheart, Claudia Villafane, of stealing nearly $9m from his bank accounts.
Maradona made this claims during a live TV show on Canal America calling his Ex-Wife ”a thief”.
“If she did what we fear she did, unfortunately she will have to go to jail,” the 54-year-old said.
The couple met in a poor neighborhood of Buenos Aires before Maradona rose to fame and they have two daughters together, Dalma and Giannina.
However Villafane has denied those claims.
