It is listed as one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the great Mara Migration, and CCTV Africa was there to bring you all the spectacular scenes.

Over two million animals take part in the long migration that begins in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, to Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Wildebeests make up the largest number of these animals, with an estimated 1.7 million of them taking part. Thomson’s gazelles contribute about 400,000 animals, zebras, 300,000 and elands just about 12,000.

Here’s what you should expect to experience in a visit to the Mara during the migration.
