Manchester United host Arsenal in league tie as Liverpool battle Manchester City for Cup glory
Arsenal travel to Old Trafford today in search for an all important victory that will see them reduce the five-point gap that separates them from surprise league leaders Leicester City.
The gunners haven’t beaten Manchester United on their own turf in just about 10 years, losing six of the last eight duels between the two heavy-weights.
This match comes at the back of Arsenal’s demoralizing Champions League defeat at home to European giants Barcelona, a game in which the hosts wasted a host of valuable opportunities to get on the score-sheet.
Manchester United on the other hand recorded an impressive 5-1 victory against Danish side Midtjylland, to overturn a first half loss and make it through to Europa League’s last 16, where they are pitted against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC.
