Manchester United are apparently eyeing up Harry Kane in a sensational £45million summer swoop.

The Tottenham star has smashed 30 goals in a superb breakout season at White Hart Lane which has earned him a first England call-up. And now his standout performances have apparently caught the eye of Louis van Gaal who has put him at the top of his summer target list.

Van Gaal has his eyes on a new striker this summer with Kane apparently top priority. Van Gaal has already splashed some £25million on fellow countryman Memphis Depay but the young wideman promises to just be the first of many new faces at Old Trafford this summer.

The Daily Mail claims Louis van Gaal is keen on landing the Spurs striker, and is prepared to pay £45m for his services.
