The US Secretary of State John Kerry will visit Cairo next Wednesday to meet with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the US State Department spokesperson John Kirby said Monday.
Kerry will also meet with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukri during the visit, according to Kirby.
Kirby added that the meetings will focus on discussing key bilateral issues.
Kerry will travel to Saudi Arabia following his visit to Cairo to attend the US-Gulf states summit scheduled in Riyadh.
