Kenya’s ‘YouTube athlete’ backs postponement of 2020 Olympics

Kenyan javelin thrower and 2016 Olympic silver medalist Julius Yego says he supports the decision to postpone the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Yego says the Games can be held in 2021 in light of the prevailing circumstances. He however, pointed out the fact that athletes stand to lose out financially due to the impact  of the pandemic, including the postponement of a number of athletics events.TAKE A LOOK.
