In Kenya, the M-Pesa upgrade scheduled for Saturday night will cause a four-hour outage of the mobile money service not 11, as previously announced.
Services will be unavailable from 12 AM to 4 AM on Sunday the 16th of July. The upgrade will see M-Pesa add new features and automate select functions.
It is the third major M-Pesa upgrade in the the mobile money service’s 10-year history.
