Kenya’s COVID-19 cases pass 25,000 mark
Kenya recorded 727 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the country’s caseload to 25,138 after the testing of 6,814 samples.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe made the announcement and also said that 674 more patients had recovered, raising the total number of recoveries to 11,118.
14 patients succumbed to the virus, raising the death toll to 413.
Of the new cases, 711 are Kenyans and 16 are foreigners.
