As Kenya prepares to receive President Barack Obama, so much excitement has been expressed through social media and the mainstream med as well.
There have been several trending hashtags on Twitter for the past few weeks, and Kenyans have used the platform to express their views on Obama’s homecoming.
From the #ObamainKenya, #Obamawelcometokenyawhere, #Magicalkenya, #ges2015kenya to #SomeonetellCNN, which is the current trending hashtag.
The hashtag has seen close to 19.7k tweets in just half a day.
The hashtag, #Someonetellcnn has seen Kenyans on Twitter ( #KOT) hit back at CNN for calling Kenya a hotbed of terror.
