Even as Kenya celebrated the launch at one of the towns along the line, locals had even more reason to celebrate. Residents of Kajiado County which is located on the outskirts of Kenya’s capital are beneficiaries of a water project linked to the railway project. As Wilkister Nyabwa reports, the water was discovered during the drilling of the train tunnel.
