Kenyan company looking to modernize micro-vendor market

The annual market value of produce sold through informal vendors in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi is more than 700 million dollars.

And there is potential to grow even higher. But producers make a very small fraction of the millions in the value chain as the bulk is shared between middlemen.

CCTV’s Maria Galang sought out a tech-based business to business delivery service which is looking to solve some of those challenges, and transform the country’s micro-vendor food market.
