Kenya records highest number of new COVID-19 cases

Kenya have confirmed 80 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the highest number recorded since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Ministry of Health.

This brings to total number of confirmed COVID19 cases to 1,109, while the number of fatalities remains at 50.

“This war cannot be won by the government alone but by all individuals following rules,” Kenya’s Ministry of Health tweeted.
